Each government, private company or non-profit will bring their specific challenges to the Summit. Experts from across the clean energy industry will be partnered with those challenges to ensure a wide cross section of expertise.

After the opening session, each group will break out together and spend three one-hour sessions together over the course of the day. Participants will be part of the same working group all day. Solutions are best found through an extended engagement by the same experts, so participants will only be engaged with one working group.

At the end of the day, each group will have a project plan outlining possible next steps and present those to the rest of the Solutions Summit participants.

9:05 – 9:30 a.m.

Keynote Speaker: Sean Gallagher, the Vice President of State & Regulatory Affairs from SEIA will discuss how SEIA is assisting local organizations in achieving their own solar goals.
Sean oversees SEIA’s legislative, regulatory, and policy development work in states nationwide, and leads SEIA’s regulatory work with the Biden Administration. Before joining SEIA, he worked for firms developing utility scale solar power projects. Previously Sean was the Director of the California Public Utilities Commission’s Energy Division, and he was an attorney for the CPUC and in private practice in San Francisco.

9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
